These bulbs are described as "amber" but they are actually orange. I was hoping for amber LED bulbs for my ceiling an, but was very disappointed. They would be fine as Halloween decorations, but they are certainly not amber.

The light bulb appears as shown, but appearance is not important to me as it is located in an enclosed frosted glass outdoor fixture which runs on a time clock. Before purchasing, I checked with OogaLights and they assured me that I could use the lights in that situation. The bulb was bought in September, 2017 and installed once it arrived along with 4 others installed in identical fixtures. At least two of them are now dead which seems like a very short life since they run about 10 hours per day or about 9000 hours total. (Another arrived dead, but OogaLights promptly replaced that one for me free of charge.) I bought 5 Red LED S14 Crystal Cut Faceted Light Bulbs at the same time and used them in other outside fixtures controlled by the same time clock. All of those are still working and are rated for 20,000 hours. So, I'm going to get Amber LED S14 Crystal Cut Faceted Light Bulbs this time and expect to get better life from them. They are also 36% less expensive than these lights, although their appearance is different which, as I said, doesn't matter to me.

I was very happy with the lights and the customer service was esxcellent. My only issue was that I paid extra to have the items express shipped and due to a "weather event" the items did not arrive when I expected them--they came five days after the expected arrival date.
