Hello Robert, we think you may have review the wrong light. This item is meant to work with a only patio umbrella pole. It has a push button switch that is easily accessible for on and off operation. If you feel you purchased the wrong light for what you are trying to accomplish please contact our customer service team. I did NOT review the wrong light. It has a push button you are correct and a short person needs a ladder or stand unsafely in a chair to push the button, after installed at proper height on a umbrella pole. I did contact your customer service. They We’re in helpful and informed me I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee on the 8-10 lights I ordered and I would have to pay shipping for the return... Pathetic! You just don’t want my business now or in the future. I have since filed the lights in the 86 location.

Hello Robert, here is the return request form we send out to you. Please note the line that says to avoid a 20% restocking fee the items must be returned in original packaging and unused. If the return meets this requirement you will not be charge a 20% restocking fee. Return statement below: Your return request has been received. The item(s) must be in their original packaging and unused to avoid a restocking fee of 20%. Once inspected a credit for the product (shipping charges are not refunded) will be issued within 24-48 hours. Note: Shipping cost and the responsibility of shipment of the product back to OogaLights shall be that of the customers if customer changed their mind or wrong item was ordered.
