Well, unfortunately the color of these lights in reality do not look anything like Mardis Gras colors as depicted in the photos on the web site. The purple in particular, is not purple at all — it's pinkish, and the gold and green are light as well. This renders the so-called Mardis Gras lights looking more like Easter lights. So they don't work for us. Very disappointing. I ordered elsewhere (from a past purchase) to get true Mardis Gras lights. It's hard to understand this, and the photos are deceptive. I've seen numerous other review complaints about the colors being off, especially the non-purple. You can't have Mardis Gras without purple. We're keeping them, and will actually use them on our deck in the Spring, well after Mardis Gras, as Spring and Easter is what they look like. The company needs to photograph these honestly or stop marketing them as Mardis Gras lights. In the photo below you see the Ooga Lights on the right side of the deck, and other Mardis Gras lights to the left. You can see Ooga's don't remotely look like Mardis Gras colors. Buyer beware.

These lights are great. The string of lights go all around my living room and dining room windows. Also, they are affordable and get delivered quickly. I would order again in the future.

These are better than the ones I bought from Walmart. The purple bulbs on the Walmart strands light up to a more red color while these are more pink. Still not a true purple. Apparently that is really hard to find. The strands are very long and seems like good quality. I'll take it over the red tint. The red tint looks to Christmas-y.

Great customer service! Had a green light out, which I have noticed in other reviews. For some reason they do not include that color in the replacement bulbs. Called customer service and they sent 2 replacement bulbs right away.

This company is so efficient. Immediate follow up confirmation to order, confirmation when item shipped / which was the same day as the order - then a follow up to make sure I was satisfied with what I purchased. And the lights were exactly as pictured.

Nice combination of colors, I love it. I put on a Christmas tree with a string of amber and they complement nicely. They would make nice Easter tree lights, too!
