I looked all over for this (type) Bethlehem star for years. Finally found it on Oogalights. Reasonably priced (given today's increase in prices of everything). The only complaint is that the lights never last as long as they used to last. I used to keep this star plugged in 24/7 all year in my attic window. The star's light literally lasted at least 2 years and was never unplugged. Not so today. Probably, there were different manufacturers back 20 yrs ago. I used to buy this style/type window star at places like K-Mart, Caldor's (now Kohls) etc. Anyway, despite the lights not lasting long before they blow out, I am glad to have found Oogalights. As for the staff at Oogalights, they are GREAT, pleasant and accommodating to work with, especially an April with whom I have dealt with for at least the past 2-3 years. 5 Stars!

My only problem is that the lights last less than a year. I have kept this star lit in my tiny window attic all year in memory of loved ones, esp since the passing of my dog Amber in Oct 2003. The only complaint I have is, unlike the earlier versions who lights last for up to 2 yrs being on 24/7, not the string lights today. Anyway, am grateful for Oogalights that I discovered 3 yrs ago, carries this product. It's been hard to find anywhere for several years. Reps at Oogalights are the best especially April who has taken my orders the last 2 yrs. 😊

I would give this incandescent lighted Star of Bethlehem 5 stars but only give it 4 bc the lights tend to blow out after a few months. Two decades ago when I used to buy this lighted Star (probably different brand) locally at stores like Kmart or Caldors (not in business any longer), the incandescent Star literally stayed lit for years even tho plugged in 24/7, before the lights would blow out. They just don't make lights the way they used to. In fact, nothing is made like they used to be. But Ooga Lights is a wonderful business to deal with (March industries).
