This blue bulb is my favorite color to use in my outdoor light strands - but the bulbs lose their color - the blue fades in time and in weather faster than the other color bulbs.

These colored 11w bulbs look great strung around the deck - they are less bright than clear bulbs and seem to attract fewer bugs than brighter burning clear bulbs. I use the amber, green and blue - the blue are the prettiest but the color seems to burn off the glass bulb in time (becoming almost a clear bulb) more so than the other colors

I ordered the blue lights and when they arrived they were a beautiful blue but when turned on they are actually green. It is a very pretty green color but I'm disappointed they are not the bright blue I expected.
